| This summer a charity of a whole new flavor is coming to Raleigh! Right now, over a dozen older Ukrainian orphans are traveling across the Atlantic to have the time of their lives, and although they don’t know it, hopefully to find forever homes. In Ukraine, orphans over the age of 8 are at a high risk of a devastating future without the hope of a family. The dismal UNICEF statistics explain that if left in the orphanage system 70% of boys end up in jail, 60% of girls end up in prostitution, and 10% of the children will ultimately commit suicide. Synergy Spa is teaming with Redline United to help rescue these kids.

The purpose of these gatherings is two-fold. First, we would like to introduce the kids to members of the community who may be open to the possibility of adoption. Second, we plan to organize hosting programs like this in the future, offering opportunities for more children to find families down the road.
