which type of Restylane product is right for me?
Depending on your desired area of treatment, you may choose Restylane to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and folds and enhance your lips, Restylane Silk to enhance your lips, Restylane Lyft for wrinkles that benefit from a deeper injection, or Restylane Refyne for areas of motion on the face.
common questions and concerns
What is the key difference between Restylane and Juvederm? Technically, there isn’t much difference between the two. Restylane is often used for more severe wrinkles and folds, but effects last for less time than Juvederm. The key difference would be a preference based on your desired results after consulting with one of our expert certified nurse injectors.
How long would a Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, or Restylane Refyne treatment take? Depending on the length of your consultation and desired results, treatment time may range. We prefer to book your appointment with additional time allowed, in case you have any questions or need the treatment to be modified for extra comfort and ease.
How long does it last? Restylane and Restylane Lyft results typically last for about six months after injection. Restylane Silk may also last for up to six months, depending on the amount of usage of the lips with speaking or moving. Restylane Refyne may last for up to 12 months after injection.
How many treatments do I need? While results are not permanent, they are long lasting. Most clients need only one treatment to achieve their desired results, but may continue to return for on-going maintenance.
Are there any side effects? After treatment, you might have some swelling, redness, pain, bruising, or tenderness. These are typically mild in severity and normally last less than 7 days in nasolabial folds and less than 14 – 18 days in lips. Swelling may be more likely in patients under 36 years, and bruising may be more likely in patients over 35 years.
There will be a $75 consultation fee that may be applied to any medical aesthetic treatments on same day or in future.
